Comprehensive Responsibilities
- Outbound Loading: Safely drive a sit-down forklift to move heavy pallets into 53-foot trailers, playing "Tetris" to maximize cube space and balance weight.
- Freight Securing: Utilize heavy-duty straps, decking bars, and dunnage to lock freight tightly into place, preventing any shifting or damage during highway transit.
- Labeling & Documentation: Utilize handheld scanners to verify PRO numbers against the manifest, ensuring every pallet is loaded onto the correct geographical trailer.
- Safety & Maintenance: Keep the shipping and receiving dock immaculate, clear away broken pallets, and conduct daily safety checks on your assigned forklift.
