Job Summary

We are actively seeking hardworking, safety-conscious, and friendly individuals to join our outdoor support team. As a Part-Time Yard Associate, you will be trained to operate forklifts, organize outdoor agricultural goods, and assist customers with heavy load-outs. You will serve as an overarching service ambassador, delivering the signature reliability that sets us apart in the rural retail industry. This is a dynamic, highly physical role for individuals who thrive on working outdoors and breaking a sweat.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Customer Load-Outs: Greet customers at their vehicles and safely load heavy items—such as 50 lb bags of livestock feed, large fencing panels, and riding mowers—into their trucks and trailers.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a propane forklift to move massive pallets of wood pellets, mulch, and tractor implements around the exterior yard.
• Propane Dispensing: Safely dispense propane into customer cylinders according to strict federal and state hazmat regulations (certification provided).
• Yard Maintenance: Keep the exterior side-lot immaculate, ensuring pallets are stacked neatly, gates are secure, and the area is free of debris.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application (mandatory for forklift operation and propane dispensing).
• No prior forklift or agricultural experience required as full training is provided; a rural background is a huge plus!
• Must possess a highly friendly, service-oriented personality and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work outdoors in extreme weather, and comfortably lift 50 pounds repeatedly during load-outs.
