Job Summary

As a Part-Time Dock Worker, you will physically load and unload trailers using manual and powered equipment, secure freight, and scan barcodes. Comprehensive Responsibilities
- Trailer Unloading: Work rapidly to unload incoming 53-foot trailers, utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy, palletized freight safely to staging areas.
- Cross-Dock Sorting: Read freight bills and routing tags quickly to move pallets across the dock to their correct outbound trailers based on geographic zones.
- Outbound Loading: Safely and tightly stack pallets inside outbound trailers, utilizing straps, load bars, and dunnage to maximize space and prevent shifting in transit.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean workspace on the dock, immediately resolving any spills or hazards, and strictly utilizing proper lifting and driving mechanics.
